Łukasz Sadowski. (Dr hab. inż.), Profesor Uczelni zatrudniony na Wydziale Budownictwa Lądowego i Wodnego Politechniki Wrocławskiej. Ukończył z wyróżnieniem studia magisterskie w roku 2007. W roku 2013 uzyskał z wyróżnieniem stopień doktora nauk technicznych w dyscyplinie budownictwo. Z kolei w roku 2018 uzyskał z wyróżnieniem stopień doktora habilitowanego nauk technicznych w dyscyplinie budownictwo. Jest stypendystą Fundacji na rzecz Nauki Polskiej (FNP) i Ministerstwa Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego (MNiSW).

Zainteresowania badawcze: beton, badania nieniszczące, morfologia powierzchni, metody akustyczne oraz sztuczna inteligencja.

Dotychczasowy opublikowany dorobek naukowy liczy ponad 100 prac, w tym 45 artykułów w czasopismach znajdujących się w bazie Journal Citation Reports (JCR). Ma ponad 200 cytowań w bazie Web of Science. Jest asystentem edytora czasopisma Advances in Civil Engineering (Hindawi) oraz członkiem zespołu edytorów czasopisma International Journal of Machine Intelligence and Sensory Signal Processing (Inderscience). Ma w swoim dorobku wykonanych ponad 160 recenzji artykułów w czasopismach z listy JCR takich jak: Ultrasonics, Materials & Design, Materials, Composites Part B: Engineering, Automation in Construction, Construction and Building Materials, Archives of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Materials & Structures, Scanning, Sensors, Neural Computing & Applications, Indian Journal of Engineering & Materials Sciences, Journal of Applied Geophysics, Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization. Jest współautorem skomercjalizowanego w 2013 roku patentu.  

W roku 2007 odbył staż naukowy w The University of Liverpool w ramach programu Socrates/Erasmus. W roku 2008 odbył dwa krótkoterminowe staże naukowe, w Niemczech w Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und prüfung (BAM) i w Danii w Germann Instruments. W 2014 roku odbył krótkoterminowy staż z zakresu badania morfologii powierzchni betonu we Francji w Laboratoire de Tribologie et Dynamique des Systemes w Ecole Centrale de Lyon, University of Porto w Portugalii oraz w La Trobe University w Australii w 2015 roku.

Był kierownikiem projektu badawczego „SONATA 8” nr 2014/15/D/ST8/00550 p.t.: „Ocena zespolenia warstw betonowych o zmiennej grubości na podstawie badań nieniszczących z wykorzystaniem sztucznej inteligencji” finansowanego przez Narodowe Centrum Nauki w Krakowie.

Łukasz SADOWSKI (DSc, PhD, Eng), an University Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Wrocław University of Science Technology (WUST), Poland. Łukasz obtained a an MSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from WUST in 2007, a PhD (Hons) in Civil Engineering from WUST in 2013 and a DSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from WUST in 2018. He is the fellow of Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) and Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW).

Research interests: concrete, non-destructive testing, surface morphology, acoustic techniques and artificial intelligence.

Author of more than 100 scientific papers, including 45 articles in journals in the database Journal Citation Reports. Has more than 200 citations in Web of Science. He serves as an Editor of Advances in Civil Engineering (Hindawi) and Editorial Board member of International Journal of Machine Intelligence and Sensory Signal Processing (Inderscience). He developed more than 160 reviews of journal articles such as: Ultrasonics, Materials & Design, Materials, Composites Part B: Engineering, Automation in Construction, Construction and Building Materials, Archives of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Materials & Structures, Scanning, Sensors, Neural Computing & Applications, Indian Journal of Engineering & Materials Sciences, Journal of Applied Geophysics, Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization. He is co-author of patent commercialized in 2013.

In 2007 he completed an internship at The University of Liverpool and in 2008 two short-term internships in Germany Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und Prüfung (BAM) and in Denmark in Germann Instruments. In 2014 he made a short-term internship in the field of concrete surface morphology in Laboratoire de Dynamique des Tribologie et Systemes at the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, University of Porto in Portugal and at La Trobe University in Australia in 2015.

He wasthe Principal Investigator of the project no. 2014/15/D/ST8/00550 “Evaluation of the interlayer bond of variably thick concrete layers based on nondestructive tests using artificial intelligence” founded by National Science Centre, Poland.
